Game Day 50/50 Draw
The Northstars run a licensed 50/50 draw at select home games. Here’s everything you need to know.
| How It Works Buy ticket packs through the Northstars Store before or during the game. The winning ticket is drawn at the end of the 3rd quarter. Half goes to the winner, half goes back to the Northstars. | AGLC Licensed Every Northstars 50/50 draw is a fully licensed, independent draw under Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) regulations. Each game draw is separate — there are no rollovers between games. | Ticket Packs Tickets are sold in packs through the Northstars Store. Each game has its own listing in the Fundraising section. Sales close at the end of 3rd quarter — get yours early! |
Common Questions
| Do I have to buy through the club? |
| No — this program is an option, not a requirement. But buying through the Northstars gets you strong club pricing on quality gear and sends proceeds directly back into the program. It’s a win for your wallet and a win for the team. |
| Why do store prices differ from retail? |
| We purchase equipment through wholesale and team channels and pass those savings on to you. Our prices include a small markup that goes back to the club — but they are still well below standard retail. You see both our price and the estimated retail on every product so you can compare. |
| How does the Helmet Program work? |
| Players pay a one-time program fee that covers use of a Schutt F7 2.0 helmet for their entire time with the Northstars. The helmet is returned when the player moves on. This lets every player access a top-tier helmet without paying full purchase price — and keeps helmets properly maintained and tracked by our equipment team. |
| What if I don’t know what size to get? |
| Reach out to your equipment manager — they can help with sizing recommendations based on your player’s age and position. Product listings in the store also include sizing guidance. |
| Is the store only for current Northstars players? |
| The store is focused on Northstars families and players. Some items like Spirit Wear may be available more broadly — if you’re unsure, reach out to the equipment manager and we’ll sort you out. |
